  From Week of March 12-16 the American Idol Broadcast
  American Idol is one of Televisions most popular shows Today. More people watch the show in one week than people go out to vote/, or are able to vote on November election day. Its a popular show, and still considered a new show. The Ratings this Year continue to be strong. So far this year, the way the show has been set up, through auditions, talents, spots, it has been a good show, only that the talent seems better last year. After watching some of these talents, Taylor Hicks looks like a Superstar. It was an unbelievable show last week, and what I am going to do is two things: 1. Rebuttal the judges remarks, comments, agree or disagree with what they said; 2. I am going to use 5 areas that I think are important for people to watch when they watch the individual talents go up there and sing, dance, ect., ect.
  Apprearance is number one or first, because obviously that is what the judges are commenting on. That's what the promos are looking for. It is all about that look, and trying to blend the talent with that look. Sometimes by only watching out for the best look/appearance, people tend to be biased, and people judge moreso on the look/appearance rather than the other 4 categories that makes a person have talent, or be successful while everyonelse is putting the person down for the wrong reasons. Maybe if people were to look past that, it would be a better show. What a person wears is also imporant. I noticed some judgers liking the more skimpy outfits on the ladies, and giving points on it rather than voice. They do go hand and hand. Male contestants should not wear tennis shows, or white dress shoes. I think black shoes, or show shoes are better than White shoes for a nice suit, or outfit for the Shows presentation.
  2. Voice: Voice is the most important for a talent whether if its in broadcasting, work in general, radio, singing like the show requires. Voice is the most important aspect of the talent on how the person is able to demonstrate what he believes through speaking, singing, ect. to an audience while he is either nervous or not nervous.
  3.The Show itself: How the person, talent comes out initially, how his voice sounds, how he prepares for the show then applies it. Sometimes some talents on the show forget the words of the song, and that will happen. The Judges were too quick on pointing that out throughout the show, using that as the stepping stone for the other areas they really/truelly disliked about the contestant/talent. Preparation is important in sports broadcasting, and it is important in singing at a talent contest such as American Idol. You must know the words so the judgers don't criticize you on that, and are able to ridicule you over other things you may not have done well, and viseversa. 4. Stage Presence is imporant and that goes with both Appearance and Show (the show itself, while your up there).
  4. Stage Presense is all the other three combined. The most important thing is how you look, perform, vocals, dress for the judgers to give you a positive reaction rather than a humiliation. Keep in mind everyone wants to be a singer when they are young. Some people sing at Church from when they are in K school. Some kid are in bands. Some talents have been singing their whole lives, happy people, or just regular normal people that have made that first step (part of preparation) to even get to the Shows auditions by filling out the paperwork, spending their own money on costs for missing work, being at the show, gas, ect. The whole time, This Show is Making Millions and Millions of Dollars on the Talents and Contestants, while the Producers of the Show, and the Ads, and the Judges are making the most money. They are desperate for talent to keep their show going. Part of the putting down of the contestants is just, funny, and good, and at times, being at home, people are a lot worse. It is part of the entertainment. The Judgers know which contestants from 1-12 should be ordered according to the show ads, ratings, and put downs, so the show can progress, and people most of all are entertained. Without the viewer and without the talent, the Show can not exist, nor function. Also waivers, or paperwork are signed by the talents/contestants in case the judges say something that is offensive. Therefore all offensiveness toward the talent, he already signed the Waiver so its allowed, or ok ( part of the show), and it's accepted as long as one of the three judgers don't over do it. What I have noticed from the show from time to time is that there is a class separation between the Judges, show producers, and the talents coming from all over. The Talents are there, because it takes a lot of courage to even try this. Also, people are doing it to improve their chances on succeeding in the Entertainment industry outside the show, and this is when its important for some of these judgers, whom are not all that anyways, not to overhumiliate a person on stage in front of TV just to make the part funny. It doesn't make one look good when the judges over do it. However, being a talent, you have to expect this, and even worse comments from people as you try, because many of these people are dark anyway, and are the barriers, or preventing you on succeeding on that field creating you to look elsewhere for work, your dreams singing, media, talent, whatever it is.
  When I started watching last week I was getting ready to eat spaghetti for Dinner. American Idol is like Spaghetti in that you need all 5 ingrediants to make the spaghetti good. First you need the spaghetti, the noodles, and that depends on the brand you like.
  Second the sauce. I like Ragu Old World Spaghetti sauce, and you can pick up one jar of Ragu Sauce at Ralphs for $1.75. For the Ground Beef, I like Lauras Lean 8% ground beef cooked with the sauce. The Most important is the Cheese, and what Kind of Cheese your going to have along with your spaghetti. I like Cheese from Holland for My spagetti, and there are several different brands I like.

  And the Left Overs, #5, that brings us to #5, what I am looking for.
  When the Show is over, how the contestant talks to, or reacts to the judges, and most of all Ryan Seacrest after he interviews you at the conclusion. That is very imporant. To Me, I was looking for Character most of all.
  Part One
  American Idol is like making a batch of Spaghetti. You need all the ingrediants to make the perfect spagetti, like a talent in American Idol, he needs all the ingredients. The Talents needs Character, Appearance is imporant, Voice or Vocals, the Show itself, Stage Presence, and when it's all over, the Interview, being respectful still even after everyonelse may have liked or not liked your performance from the judges, to the audience there, to the people watching at home. Those left overs, put the spaghetti in the fridge, and if that spagetti is good, have it the next day. Like the talent in American Idol to pass all 5 areas you need to be able to repeat, or improve your stage, performance, etc. the next time you are up there.
  That is what fuels, keeps the show going, and it's the contestants that are giving all the other people their large paychecks. The Perspective part one American Idol.

  The Contestants 1-12, along with the judges Y ( for Yes), N ( for N)
  Diana Ross Songs and Music were the Theme of the Night's Show, and each of the 12 had to pick a Song from Diana Ross. Diana Ross, a renouned Performer, and these contestants had many songs to chose from being that Ross has more than 12 popular, top10songs during the differents groups, bands, and solo she performed. It was a great setting for the Contestants, and the Music, the words are important to remember.
  The Show starts out with an exciting beginning as the TV Show slowly moved into the Show itself. First the Judges and Ryan Seacrest are introduced, and the Audience are all applauding for them, and the Show's commencement for the audience at home. It's a big show, and its nervoustime in the showroom as We are Live. The Smiles of the judges are overwhelming, and you have to laugh here and their at some of the things they say. People at home are a lot worse, some using profanity on the abilities of some of the contestants, because some of the contestants are just not good. In fact, some of them are horrible, beyond bad, but the show needs contestants, and if you have atleast 1/5 qualities , your in.

  The 1st Contestant: Brandon Rogers
  Brandon Rogers goes up, and sings OK, and Opens the Show Well under the way the Show was going. Many people, or viewers like the Show, and Liked Brandon singing "just have to wait, love don't come easy", a song with S Wonder". Brandon was "singing", and after all that, and it was over, The good part.
  Randy Johnson: He gave it a 1/2 ( I agreed because I wasn't sure what kind of show it was. It was good, but it was terrible. I gave him a 3/5. I liked the Show, and I liked the way he opened up the show personally, but it was the first contestant. The 3 judgers were noticing things I didn't until I continued to watch and catch on to what was going on. The Show peoples have the 1-12 in the order according to many things, male and female, look and appearance, and Show, and I didn't realize it , until towards the end.
  Paula: Paula like it, she liked Brandon
  Simon: No " Not good, song wasn't for him"
  James: I wasn't sure if this was the guy from the Madonna Video Like a Prayer: " Life is a Mystery", the guy that breaks through the WAX ( nevermind)

  Wait a minute on Brandon , Simon had the best rebuttal of all time:" You were the backup singer for the back up singer"
  and after that, the viewer laughed, was stunned, and people whom were singing that song, soon found that Had they tried or gone up their, maybe they too would be humiliated like that infront of National TV, and that was one of the funniest rebuttals I heard, agreeing.

  Do Little did well on the stage on all 5 catagories being the 2nd contestant, it was hard to match that overall performance by a very awesome contestant/talent up their trying to make her way in the Entertainment industry, and that is how to do flat out.

  Number 3 Chris Sligh
  James: I thought Chris did very well, and thought the judges criticized him more for his appearance. I thought his appearance was good, although he did look a lot like Drake with an 80s Afro like Weird Al. ( Drake from the TV Show Drake and Josh._

  Chris Sligh sang Endless Love, and I gave him better than the judges gave him although they went on appearance using the song Endless Love to be the reason while the never liked the performance anyways.
  I thought the performance, and Chris did a good job 3/5

  Hard to repeat the last performance, but given a second chance and not judged on appearance, with more practice, Chris should do well outside American Idol. He had Character, and that is important.
  Appearance, and looks are changing, and this old way of what you think looks good or is good, it's visaversa now. The Odd looks, or 80's looks are in.

  Paula: " he really grabbed the audience"
  Simon: Mentions Whale, and really didnt make sense on that comment, just didnt like the performance.
  James: He reminded my of a talent that likes Michael Jackson stages from before

  Sang:" Missing You"
  James: She was Hot, She kind of looked like a Paula Abdul almermoter, littlePaula. I gave her a 3/5 and I would have given her 4/5, but in the Interview, she called herself a SHMUCK or that the Performance was not satificatory.
  Randy: No ,a valued effort?
  Paula: No, " You look lovely tonight, adorable". She forget the words in the song
  Simon:" A Very, very Impressive Performance"
  Hold it together, referring to how she handled that moment of forgeting the words, and she did well up their.
  Simon thought Haley did well, " real Presence"
  Like I said , she was hot
  James: as for the Show, I thought Contestant 3 did better, Chris. Haleys show was worse than Chris, the Kid was better during the Show ( but didn't have the Appearance or look she did) Male Singers and Female singers are judged differently, and this is the part of the show where it was brought out. Everyone wants to see the Hotbabe do well, and forget the Douchbag WeirdAl/Drake lookalike, Right?
  This is where you can tell if and when the Criticism of the show is Proper.

  James: good voice, so far the best voice for male vocal singer in the show. Appearance was good, I give him 4/5. " Boring", but he kept smiling.

  Paula: Should have picked a more uptempo song, would have been more exciting
  Simon: " Wrong Paula, He Chose the right tempo, OK, good song choice.
  " Shouted, shouting in my ear, wasn't outstanding, was better last week, wasn't in control" .
  Contestant 8 Lakisha
  After Her performance, the Crowd goes WILD.
  James: I missed a good show, stepped away for that one to have some Spaghetti.

  Randy: Yes " WoW", he like her outfit she was wearing " unbelievable

  Paula: " you either got it or you don't got it, you got it", beatiful performance, good

  James: " I was laughing from the beginning to the end of this contestants show", " dancing in motion" . He looked like a combination of Justin Timberlake/Sugar Ray.
  Simon: " I didn't like it at all", " if you were heard yourself in isolation, and listened to it" Ok- No

  Randy: " Interesting, 1/2 good and 1/2 bad"
  Paula: Blend of Contemporay
  Simon: " take you out of the equation, Simon said NO.
  " Dreadful" " Don't forget this is a singing contest, listen to yourself, and you'll agree.
  James: " gave it a good try, good in the end, thats it"
  This contestant was aweful, but the appearance is what the judges/groups are looking for, but the singing abilities, beyond terrible in my opinion.
  Contestant 12 Jordan Sparks
  Jordan was the last contestant, and based on look, it seemed at that point you could tell how the producers put bad to worse to good according to the 1-12 to keep the shows audience Entertained while each contestant went through that humiliation period, good and bad.
  Jordan looked like a cross between LisaLisa and Cult Jam, and Lisette Melendez
  James: looks older than she is ( age 17)
  James: " she was doing well until she started smiling midway through the show, and then the motions. ( 17)
  Randy: Yes " gorgous" " 17, so impressive"

  Paula: Yes
  Simon:" Goowee"
  James: I agree on the Goowee ( until I was told she was 17)( all the contestants are nervous, and are doing the best they can under the stage. To add, the Judges and Producers have the order in which they like 1-12 for the people to laugh and be entertained.)" I thought it was a good ending, but terrible"
  " Ok till the smiling, but she was happy, most important"
  Simon: " a very , very good vocal, good show"
  Paula:" Natural gift of fresh air", " you sang your heart out".
  All in all, it was a good show. There was good camera work on the talents throughout the show. The Judges were fair 10/12 of the talents on how they gave the Yes or the No on whether ones got it or doesn't got it. Regardless, whether the talents do or don't " got it" , the producers, ads, and judges are making millions of dollars throughout the season, and more on the outside, while this seems like fun to them, so long as they are fair, and do keep in mind that its the contestants and talents and audience that make it all possible while they ridicoule, while they take other peoples ideas on shows, headlines, ect. , ect. whether it has to do with ,
  or does not have to do with the topic, subject where they are mixing it up for their own propaganda. The Talents and contestants are making the producers and judges and actors on the show rich, and at the end of the show, the winner last year received a Ford Mustang only as a Promo Gift while in the Superbowl , one game, Peyton Manning got a Cadallac STS ( 90,000 car versus 22000, ( weak)). The Class or difference of the cars is overwhelming, and that was one game versus many shows. The Cadallac STS was a Nice/proper gift. He didn't even want to give it up to one of his linemen? Who knows, maybe he did? Saturday for the Colts should get a Cadallac STS. You can see the Talents or Contestants are being put down, but they are the show, making it all happen, and its they whom make all the money circulate in the show, basically signing your paychecks each week while your ridicoule. Good show for which it is, only a show, a alright show, an entertaining show, but loosing it each week for two reasons: the talents aren't being shown, or the talents aren't as good as prior years. 2: the producers and judges are hoarding all the profits, and the real talents aren't going to put themselves in that situation to be put down while the media and the whole United States are watching the judges humiliate one person after another each time. The Real Talents are Entering the Contest for many different reasons. It is a good singing Contest. You can compare it to a good batch of Spaghetti. Why would anyone want to join your show trying to break in the Entertainment Business?

• 2007 NY Yankees: "A Good Season"

  Monday Night, the Cleveland Indians win Game Four 6-4 to close out the A.L.D.S. at New York winning the series 3-1. Coming in, there was a lot of talk on the Yankees, the manager leaving if the team doesn't advance in the playoffs. I thought the Yankees had a good season, close to a great season. The talk now is after the manager leaving, some players will leave also as some players are at the end of their contracts, some having options.
  I would keep this team the same, as much as possible, work on some of the little things that the team was unable to do to win this series. No Matter how you look at it, the Yankees are the 3rd best team in the American League, and that is how the standing goes for 2007. The Team came back early in the season to get to the point making wild card, when the team's pitching early had problems. Pettitte improved after the All Star Break tremendously, probably the most improved pitcher being that he has played many season. The team should not look down, but up. The team was close, but not enough credit was given or has been given to the Cleveland Indians. The Indians were the hottest team in the American League after the All Star Break taking the division away from Detroit. That team has been a determined team, and even the Yankees lose to the Indians, because that is how good the team is. The Pitcher Sabathia is the best pitcher in the game right now all around, his mental toughness, and the other pitchers and players feed off that. Two playoff games in New York were played by making the playoffs in the first place.
  The Yankees are a good baseball team. The team gave the fans good moments all season.
  The issue of threatening the managers job if the team doesn't win may have cost the team the win game 4 in that the teams mentality had added pressure. The Players did well, but when its over then you appreciate more some of the other Yankees teams and players that people will remember as game winning HR's, the moments in baseball that are always there. The HR of Scott Brodious, the David Justice Lightning HR in the 7th Inning for a 3 run HR (that was a great moment the way the HR went out of the park and the game changed from Justice's at bat while the Crowd Noise was going on people stunned watching that on TV). Those are memories that baseball fans will always remember. Roger Clemens on the Mound, and Joe Torre in the managers box, Pettitte for the next game, Jeter making plays at Short, and you can go on and on of the big plays and moments of the Teams success in the 90's where the team dominated the game. Now there are other teams that have talent, and the upper management are quick to put the blame on the manager for not winning again, after winning all that before, and Yes, it hurts, but it is the players that make the moves and plays on the field.
  The Yankees had some good moments in this series. Johnny Damons HR ranks right up there with his other great moments at Yankees stadium from the other uniform. Did You see that catch in the top of the 9th inning at the wall by Damon?
  The teams players on defense played well, but the fact is the Indians are the better team this season. How far will the Indians go, that will be up to the pitching staff against the Red Sox. Sometimes teams look at the next series rather than the series they are already playing.
  A Rod did well game 4 with that HR, and the team played well in the series other than the first game. Wang perhaps should not have been the first starter in the rotation, but pitching all season for the Yankees have been the achillies heal. The Team needed 1 strong pitcher added to the rotation and 1 middle relief pitcher. Still from the team that they had, the pitchers did well all season. Hughes and Chamberlain, and Farnsworth were good pitchers and should come back next season. Posada batting .337 for the season, that was also impressive.
  I was really impressed with Cano and Posada all season. I was also impressed with ARod getting 150+ RBIs almost breaking Roger Maris HR Record this season. In the Post Season, Jorge Posada strikes out in the 9th inning which ends the series.

  I think it is premature for all the media hype on talking about ARod and other players opting to leave the Yankees and play elsewhere. I thought the team did exceptionally well, played hard every night, and if one player leaves, that could be it for the Yankees next season. That will not improve them, and the Yankees are still the best all around team to play for if you play baseball at this level. I'm sure that some players have a foul taste in their mouth after not winning this series on the manner and closeness the series turned out. Hey sometimes you are not going to win, and the Indians were better this season at the key position, and that was played out this series. So instead of ruining it, build on it. I am sure all the players from Yesterday all want to stay playing at New York, especially on how close the team was to being in that Pennant Series against Boston.
  If I was the upper manager I would fire Betemit because he used to play with the Dodgers and added nothing to the team, that should give the team an extra player for next seasons spot. Keep ARod of course, he is the best, and Posada had to stay, work around getting some pitchers into the league. I was disappointed in Wang's performance, and thought that the team relied on him too much, and that was the key in that series going into game 1 already thinking L against Sabathia, thus he and the team already had you beat. Wang for the Yankees did have 19 regular season wins, so you have to go with Wang as the first starter from his accomplishments in the regular season.
  It is the players on the field that were unable to produce any runs game 2 that was the key difference in not being able to force a Game 5. Congratulations to the 2007 New York Yankees Team and Fans for a Good Season. Congrats to the Indians going for the Pennant and Good Luck to them.

  LA Wins With Alittle Help From Nomar 2, But....... by jamestowncalif.com

  But before Nomar steals the headline, 7 Dodger Homeruns in the Game, and 4 in the bottom of the 9th inning to tie the game at 9. What an unbelievable game at Dodger Stadium on a Monday Night. It was busy like a Saturday Night, and first place was on the line in the West. The Dodgers unleash the bats, some power hitting in the most dramatic fashion and most needed time for the Team. Late inning Homeruns by Kent, J D Drew, R Martin, and Anderson, and they werent just Homeruns, they were out here. What a game at Dodgers Stadium as the Padres had the game, and the Dodgers come up big as 6 players hit Homeruns, Anderson with 2, and Nomar with the game winner with Loften on base.
  The Padres go into the game a .5 ahead of the Dodgers and have beat the Dodgers all Year. The Padres have been the Dodgers toughest team, and Monday Night First place was on the line. The Padres take a 4-0 lead in the 1st inning as 8 Padres came up to bat. The Dodgers tie the game in the 3rd inning after scoring a run in the 1st, 2nd, and 2 in the 3rd. Tied at 4-4, defense takes over the game on both sides. The Padres leave the bases loaded, and then the Dodgers leave the bases loaded. Some good double plays in the middle innings, and the Dodgers had many opportunities to take the lead when the game was tied at 4. The 4-7 innings no runs were scored, and both teams had golden opportunities to break the game open. Almost like what was about to happen, the stage was setting for the later innings, and in what turn out to be LA biggest Win of the season. The Padres score 2 runs in the 8th inning, and LA scores 1 run. In the 9th inning, Dodger pitching softened and the Padres broke the game open in the 9th inning with 3 runs. The score at 9-5, and the TV cameras begin to show the Dodger players how upset they were after this seesaw game was concluding, and the Padres were about to take the series, and the Western Divison lead. The Camera passed by Nomar, and you can see how his emotions, like the rest of the team. Vin was talking about how this series isnt may be over, but the season isnt by far, and the Broadcast was already talking about the Pittsburg Pirates series coming up next.
  Then the magic game, the team did something that hasnt been done in 40 years and that is to come from behind 4 runs in the 9th inning to tie with 4 straight homeruns. But this wasnt just a tie, or getting men on base, and a rally, it was all "the long ball", and We all wished for it, wanted it, and sensed it in that 9th inning, that the game wasnt over. Jeff Kent played huge all game, on defense, making throws to first for double plays, and in the 9th inning, it was Kent that set the stage for the rest of the guys. Jeff Kent takes a pitch to the fartherest part in centerfield deep, and a homerun. He trots the bases, and the Dodgers down by 3. We wanted more, and J D Drew comes up to bat, and on the first pitch takes a pitch to right center field deep, and a homerun well into the bleachers. He smoked that Homerun, and then the rally. Still the team down by 2 runs, and their was something in the air at Chavez Ravin Monday Night, like the breeze stood still for a while, and the players could see the ball better than usual late in the game. The Dodgers in that 9th inning went up to bat to tie the game, and how they were going to do it was by the longball, and that was the most unbelievable comeback in LA Dodgers history. Russell Martin comes up to bat, and he has hit a homerun to win a game before, goes up, and hits a towering shot, and We all stood, and as soon as He hit it, We, and all the fans were going crazy. A first pitch HR off Hoffman who just came in for Adkins who just gave up the last 2 HRs. Vin said it best, the Crowd was the story tonight, in the largest Monday crowd ever at Dodger Stadium. One more, you get superstitious throughout the game, how you stand, what you talk about, and for a while that was happening, because not winning this game, and in that 9th inning, it looked like LA was going to be 1.5 games from the Padres fromn first. My headline was going to be LA gets Beat By SanDiego as the Padres are 1.5 in First. But their was this determination on the field that the players had, and provided on the field, laying everything on the line, and when that 4th homerun came, That was crazy. Jumping up and down, and the whole neighborhood could hear us, and the people watching the game with me, dont usually watch baseball, but are fans, and we watched perhaps the greatest game of the Year, and maybe of all time for a regular season game for the LA Dodgers.
  And what a pick up for the Dodgers getting M Anderson as he hits a homerun early in the game, and then none bigger than that deep to right drive for a homerun that tied the game at 9 off Hoffman, and the crowd going wild all over the southland. People whom left the game and were in there cars missed a great comeback, some awesome homeruns, some power, that was the shiznet, and we couldnt believe it. The fans coming back into the game, and which ever fan that had that bad luck must have reentered the stadium , even after all that, the Padres score 1 run in the top of the 10th inning. The Dodger fans after seeing that prior inning, only a win was going to make this night special, and thats what happened. The whole team did well tonight offensively, and defensively. Loften in Centerfield making a big catch , and almost making a homerun saving catch that he stopped, and it was only a double rather than more runs coming. Loften walks in the bottom of the 10th, and being down by 1 run, Nomar takes a pitch deep to left for the Homerun, the win, and for first place . Nomar comes up huge in the 10th , and when he hit it, I stood up, he knew it, we all did. I would like to thank all the Dodgers for tonights effort, and I would like to thank Vin Scully for the awesome broadcast. You could tell being down 9-5, Vin was upset about this game, but he, and the team never gave in, and for first place, everything was laid out their on the line, in the most memorable night, a night of the longball, on a cool night at Dodgers Stadium. "The Crowd loving every moment of it, a rollercoaster ride" Vin.

  When you talk about character of a team, the LA Dodgers Monday Night showed alot of character. It was the greatest comefrom behind win I have ever seen, and the way it was done, it was unbelievable, remarkable. To Hit 4 solo Homeruns like that when the team was down 4, each player went up to bat with the attitude that he was going to hit it out, and boy did they ever.
  What a great win for these players for the Los Angeles Dodgers whom Vin reminds us that LA is in first place in West. What a game by all the Dodger players, huge game by M Anderson.
